The Marketing Club of the Faculty of Business Studies successfully organized its second seminar titled “Part-Time Job and Employment Opportunities” on 22 June 2026 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at BH 2, University of Vavuniya. The session was conducted by Mr. S. M. Puviraj, Certified Financial Marketer, Life Sales Manager, Amana Takaful Life Insurance PLC. The seminar aimed to create awareness among undergraduate students about the availability of part-time employment opportunities while pursuing their studies. The resource person shared practical insights into balancing academic responsibilities with part-time employment, developing workplace skills, and enhancing employability. Students were also introduced to career planning strategies, professional ethics, and the importance of gaining work experience during their university education. The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating in discussions and raising questions related to employment prospects and career development. Overall, the seminar provided valuable guidance that empowered students to make informed career decisions while strengthening their professional and personal development.
