Ms. M. R. F. Aqeela Ijas served as the resource person for the Induction Programme for Academic Staff (IPAS-2026) at the University of Vavuniya on 28th August 2026. She conducted a session on “Effective Presentation Skills,” focusing on essential techniques for delivering clear, engaging, and impactful presentations in academic and professional settings.
The session was designed to be highly interactive, incorporating a variety of hands-on activities, practical exercises, individual and group discussions. These activities enabled participants to put the concepts into practice, build confidence, improve their verbal and non-verbal communication and develop their presentation skills through experiential learning. The session was mainly to strengthen their skills for effective teaching, academic communication and professional engagement.
