The HR Club, Department of Human Resource Management, successfully organized the “Vocalist of the Year 2024” musical competition from March 2024 to April 2024, showcasing exceptional vocal talent from across the world. The event attracted a large number of participants and was designed to encourage participants to express their creativity and passion for music. Each participant showcased unique musical styles, from classical to contemporary, captivating the audience with their performances.
In the first round the songs were displayed in the HR Club YouTube and based on the likes they get from the audience best singers were selected. Then in the Second round, the judges evaluated contestants based on vocal technique and overall performance quality. After a series of outstanding performances, Ms. N. Mathurangani, Final Year Student, Department of Human Resource Management was crowned “Vocalist of the Year 2024”, with Ms. K. Sadhurshika and Ms. M. Kovarthani receiving runners up recognition for their performances. The winners were awarded with certificates of appreciation. The competition not only provided a platform for talented students to shine but also fostered a sense of community and celebration of the arts within the department. The “Vocalist of the Year 2024” competition was a resounding success, leaving both participants and the audience eagerly awaiting next year’s edition.
