Biography

Mr. Chandrasegaran Larojan is a Senior Lecturer (Grade II) at the Department of Finance and Accountancy, Faculty of Business Studies, University of Vavuniya, Sri Lanka. He joined the department as an Assistant Lecturer (on contract) in 2011.

Mr. Larojan received his BBM (Hons. in Accounting and Finance) from the Vavuniya Campus of the University of Jaffna in 2010. He earned an MSc in Management from the University of Sri Jayawardenepura in 2016. His scholarly contributions include publications in reputed journals and conference proceedings.

  • Served as the resource person for the ‘Guru Sisu Nena Paura,’ a Capacity Building Program for G.C.E (Advanced Level) Commerce Stream teachers and students. Delivered sessions on Sri Lanka Accounting Standards (LKAS 8 – Accounting Policies, Changes in Accounting Estimates and Errors, and LKAS 10 – Events after the Reporting Period) via Zoom and YouTube Live. Organized by the Ministry of Education in collaboration with the University Grants Commission (13th October 2022).
  • Served as the resource person for the seminar on Accounting Standards (SLFRS 15 – Revenue from Contracts with Customers and SLFRS 16 – Leases) for G.C.E (Advanced Level) Commerce Stream students (English and Tamil Medium) at Vavuniya Rambaikulam Girls’ Maha Vidyalayam (7th October 2022).
  • Served as the resource person for Financial Literacy training for the staff of Delvon Assistance for Social Harmony (DASH), Kilinochchi (10th March 2024).
  • Served as the resource person for Personal Financial Management training for the staff of MAG, Vavuniya (31st June 2024).
