Ms.Sathuthika Sasikumar

Ms. S. Sathuthika Sasikumar is currently serving as a Lecturer (Probationary) in the Department of Project Management, Faculty of Business Studies, University of Vavuniya. She obtained her Bachelor of Business Management (Honours) in Project Management with First Class Honours and was recognized as the Batch Topper, receiving multiple Best Student Awards for outstanding academic and research excellence.

She has actively engaged in research related to project governance, artificial intelligence applications in project environments, and governance practices in the Sri Lankan software sector. She has successfully completed several research projects and contributed to public-sector and industry-based project studies.

Prior to joining academia, she gained professional exposure as a Project Intern at Access Engineering PLC, where she contributed to labour retention analysis, project documentation, digital tracking solutions, and process improvement initiatives. She has also been involved in student mentoring, academic activities, and departmental initiatives. Her academic and professional interests focus on strengthening governance structures in projects, enhancing decision-making practices, and promoting research-driven approaches in project management education.
