Creative Work -Exhibition
The Project Management Club of the University of Vavuniya organized an exhibition on 1st August 2024, held in the Project Management Department boardroom. The event, which began at 11:30 AM, was inaugurated by the Chair of the PMI Chapter in Sri Lanka. Ten models were showcased by 2nd and 3rd-year Project Management students, featuring innovative development projects. A panel of visitors served as judges for the exhibition.
After the International Project Management Day celebration, the top three projects were announced. Group 3 won 1st place for their Point Pedro Fisher Harbor Development project, Group 2 secured 2nd place with the Hambanthota Port project, and Group 1 took 3rd place with the Maththale Airport Development project.
Exhibiting Sri Lanka’s on going/successful/unsuccessful projects structure
The PMC organized PM related exhibitions promoting entrepreneurships, businesses, competencies and tailor- made tools and techniques. Government and Non- Governmental projects exhibited during the PM Day Celebration.
The 3rd year and 2nd year Project Management students specially actively participated for this exhibition. The exhibition was about “Exhibiting Sri Lankas on going/successful/unsuccessful projects structure”. Out of 15 project structures finally three winners for 1st place have been chosen by judges and the winning groups are about to reward in awarding ceremony function.
