About

Dr. Durgesh N. Valvi brings 22 years of teaching and research experience in Social Work. He specializes in Counselling, Therapies, Developmental Psychology, Dynamics of Human Behavior, Social Policy, Youth Leadership and Development, Soft Skills, Organizational Behavior, Labor Legislation, Industrial Relations, and Community Development across urban, rural, and tribal areas.

Research & Publications

His research focuses on social issues, tribal development, social work education, human relations, labor issues, mental health, and rural-urban-tribal problems. He has guided 5 Ph.D. students, completed 5 MPhil, and 3 PhDs under his mentorship. Dr. Valvi has published over 19 research papers in national and international journals, presented more than 15 conference papers, authored a book on Tribal Development, and contributed to multiple book chapters and self-instruction manuals.
