The Department of Project Management, University of Vavuniya, was honoured to have its significant achievement of obtaining Global Accreditation Center (GAC) Accreditation formally recognized at International Project Management Day 2026, organized by the Project Management Institute (PMI) Colombo Chapter on 18 August 2026.
The recognition of this significant achievement by the professional project management community marks a proud and memorable milestone for the Department and the University. The GAC Accreditation reflects the Department’s commitment to maintaining academic excellence, professional standards, and quality in project management education.
The occasion provided an opportunity to celebrate this remarkable achievement and acknowledge the collective efforts and dedication of the University, Faculty, Department, academic staff, and all other stakeholders who contributed to the successful accreditation process.
