The Department of Project Management, University of Vavuniya, successfully organized Alumni Workshop Series 06 on “A Practical Guide to Choosing Your Project Management Internship” on 01st August 2026 via Zoom, with the participation of 3rd and 4th year students. The workshop was conducted by Ms. S. Sathuthika Sasikumar (Alumna), Lecturer in Project Management, University of Vavuniya, who shared practical guidance on selecting suitable internship opportunities, identifying organizations aligned with career goals, preparing effective CVs, and developing essential technical and interpersonal skills.
The workshop also covered strategies for securing internships, professional workplace conduct, networking, and maximizing learning opportunities during the internship period. Students actively participated in an interactive question-and-answer session, gaining valuable insights into internship selection, workplace expectations, and career development.
