The Project Management Club, Department of Project Management, Faculty of Business Studies, University of Vavuniya, organized a Workshop on Women Empowerment on 1st July 2026 at PMH 2. The workshop, held for Project Management students, focused on promoting women’s leadership, entrepreneurship, career opportunities, and participation in decision-making. Mr. S. Senthurajah, Executive Director of SOND and Coordinator of SWOAD, Ampara District, served as the resource person. The three-hour session was highly interactive, with students actively engaging in discussions and sharing their views. The programme successfully enhanced awareness of women’s empowerment and encouraged students to pursue leadership and professional opportunities with confidence.
