The project management club, Faculty of business studies university of Vavuniya conducted a community rehabilitation need assessment program in collaboration with VAROD organization on 19th August 2023 at VAROD Organization, Pambaimadu, Vavuniya. Our club committed to contributing positively to society through educational and community focused initiatives which aims to empower and uplift the local community through workshop and preparation of the need assessment report with local and disable community.

The following tasks were conducted:

  1. Defined the scope and goals for the community needs assessment
  2. Identified stakeholders and target audience & outreach methods
  3. Established the data you for further analysis
  4. Found the right community needs assessment tools
  5. Formed Community Rehabilitation committee
  6. Conducted Need Assessment Survey (Leadership – Group Presidents, Management – secretaries, Economic- treasurers)
  7. Need Assessment Report Preparation & Submission

These joint efforts can create a positive impact on the community and foster lasting relationship that benefits all parties involved.
