The Project Management Club of the Faculty of Business Studies, University of Vavuniya proudly presented a workshop series 01 “Experience Gained in Formulation and Execution of Foreign Funded Project” for the very first time on 26th April 2022 from 1.30pm to 4.30 pm at SH4 lecture hall.
Dr. (Eng.) S.S. Sivakumar, Senior Lecturer, Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Jaffna was invited as the Resource Person for the event. Dr. Y. Nanthagopan, Dean, Faculty of Business Studies of the University of Vavuniya, Mr. Thirugnanasampanthar Head, Department of Project Management, Senior Advisor/ Treasurer Mrs. S. Mathivathany also were invited by Project Management Club for enlighten the event. All the first year, second year and third year Project Management students were actively participated to the workshop.
Rather than engaging with theoretical knowledge of project execution, being corporate with the subjects in practical way through such workshops influence students to think and see over the limited frame. Also, inspired participants to further explore it on their own in any project fields. It was a great way to teach hands-on skills as it gives learners an opportunity to try out new methods in project environment. Students requested to conduct further workshop in future to get practical experiences. Over 180 student’s participation, the workshop series 01 was successfully completed.
