Welcome to the Training and Placement Cell (TPC) of the Department of Project Management, Faculty of Business Studies, University of Vavuniya. The Training and Placement Cell serves as a platform to support students in their career development and prepare them for professional opportunities in project-based industries. The cell aims to strengthen the link between academic learning and industry practice by providing students with practical exposure and professional guidance.
The TPC facilitates career development activities, industry training, internships, and employment opportunities for students of the Department of Project Management. It maintains close collaboration with reputed organizations and industry partners to identify suitable training and placement opportunities for students.
In addition, the cell focuses on enhancing both technical project management knowledge and essential soft skills through activities such as stakeholder meetings, guest lectures, field visits, and industry training programs. The Training and Placement Cell also acts as a bridge between students and potential employers, helping students successfully transition from university education to professional careers
