Biography

I am Ms.MRF.Aqeela Ijas, Lecturer (prob) in HRM, attached to the Department of Human Resource Management, Faculty of Business Studies, University of Vavuniya. I have completed the Bachelor degree in Business Administration Specialization in HRM with first class from University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka and reading my Masters in Business Administration from South Eastern University of Sri Lanka. My objective is to be as a leading academic in the field of HRM in a high-quality academic environment where my resourceful experience and academic skills can add value to the nation and world.

  • Conducted a session on” Digital Environment and Human Capital” organized by the National Institute of Labour Studies on 22nd of August 2022 from 6 pm- 9 pm via zoom.
  • Conducted a guidance seminar for the A/L students regarding how to face the HR relevant questions on 13th October 2021.
  • Resource person for the promotional campaign of Advanced Certificate in HRM course in collaboration with CIPM on 13th of June 2021 from 7pm to 8 pm via zoom for the Vavuniya Campus students and the outsiders.
  • I served as a resource person for the “Certificate Course in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management (CESBM)” on the topic “Human Resource Planning and Health & safety” conducted by the Career Guidance Unit of University of Vavuniya.
  • Conducted a capacity building training session on “Emotional intelligence” on 26th October 2023 and 29th November 2023 for Batch1 & Batch 2

  • Best performance award in Diploma in Children English and Computer Studies at Hicma Institute of Technology, Akkraipattu.
