The webinar titled “Webinar Series 01 – Technological Shifts in Human Resource Management” was organized by the HR Club, Department of Human Resource Management, Faculty of Business Studies, University of Vavuniya on 08th April 2026 from 1.30 PM to 3.00 PM via Zoom. The session was conducted by Ms. Renusha Mithulan, Senior Lecturer, University of Jaffna. The objective of the webinar was to create awareness on how technological advancements are transforming Human Resource Management and shaping the future of work. During the session, the resource person discussed key areas including digital recruitment, HRIS, remote working, and data analytics in HR decision-making, providing insights into modern HR trends and technological developments. The webinar enhanced participants’ understanding of technology-driven HR practices.
