The seminar on “Challenges and Opportunities for Management Graduates” was held on 21st August 2024 at smart lecture hall, Faculty of Technological Studies. The event was organized by HR Club, Department of Human Resource Management and attended by students of the Faculty of Business Studies.
The objective of the seminar was to provide insights into the opportunities and threats available to the undergraduates when pursuing their future ambitions and equip graduates with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the complexities of their future. The seminar was conducted by the Ms. B. Shanmugarajah [(BA (Hons) in Psychology, Dip in Counselling, MPhil reading in Psychology] and facilitated by Mr. Jerad Milvinfrom from the Royal Academy of Professional Studies.
The seminar also included interactive sessions where participants were engaged with each other as teams and played many management related games. These sessions were highly informative and allowed students to ask questions about, challenges they might face, and how to prepare for them. The seminar on “Challenges and Opportunities for Management Graduates” provided valuable insights into the understanding of own self and equipped attendees with practical advice for navigating their future careers. The speakers emphasized the importance of self-identification, empowering one’s own self and building self-confidence, which will be crucial for graduates as they step into the professional world.
