The HR Club of the Department of Human Resource Management, Faculty of Business Studies, University of Vavuniya, successfully organized a webinar titled “Be Your Brand – Grooming & Personality Development Workshop.” Though initially planned for the 15th of June 2025 from 9.00 am to 10.00 am, the webinar was rescheduled due to technical issues and was conducted via Zoom on the 17th of June 2025 from 7.00 pm to 8.30 pm.
The session was graced by Ms. Jasintha Nirojan, BBA (Hons), MBA (COL), Senior Lecturer in HRM at the University of Jaffna, as the resource person. Students from all academic years of the HR department actively participated in this valuable session. The webinar covered a range of essential topics, including time management techniques, the art of saying ‘no’ professionally, effective grooming habits, and practical tips for personal and professional personality development.
Additionally, the resource person shared real-life experiences and professional insights that enriched the students’ learning experience. The session was highly interactive and well-received by the participants, contributing meaningfully to their personal growth and career readiness.
The HR Club extends heartfelt appreciation to Ms. Jasintha Nirojan for her time and expertise and to all students for their enthusiastic participation, making the event a commendable success despite the change in schedule.
