The Econ Club, Department of Business Economics of organized a workshop on Research Proposal Writing on 3rd July 2026 at BH3. The session was conducted by Dr. Navarathnam Ravinthirakumaran, who provided detailed guidance on the essential components of a research proposal. Students actively participated in discussions and practical activities, which helped them understand the research proposal writing process.
The objective of the workshop was to improve students’ knowledge and skills in preparing a research proposal, including selecting a research topic, writing research objectives, formulating hypotheses, and developing a suitable methodology.
The workshop enhanced students’ research writing skills and increased their confidence in preparing research proposals. Participants gained practical knowledge that will support their future academic research. The workshop was successfully conducted and provided valuable guidance to students in developing high-quality research proposals.
