The Econ Club conducted an Economics Seminar for the Advanced Level (A/L) students of Vavuniya Muslim Maha Vidyalayam on 30th June 2026.The seminar was organized with the objective of enhancing students’ understanding of key Economics concepts and supporting their preparation for the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination. The sessions were conducted by undergraduate students of the Department of Business Economics, who shared their academic knowledge through interactive discussions, practical explanations, and examination-oriented guidance.
The programme provided an excellent platform for university undergraduates to engage in community outreach while developing their teaching and communication skills. At the same time, it offered A/L students valuable learning support and motivation for their academic journey.The club extends its sincere appreciation to the principal, teachers, and students of Vavuniya Muslim Maha Vidyalayam for their warm hospitality and enthusiastic participation. The club also commends the undergraduate volunteers for their dedication and commitment to the success of this educational outreach initiative.
