The Econ Club of the Department of Business Economics, Faculty of Business Studies, University of Vavuniya, successfully organized a welcome programme for second-year students who selected the Business Economics specialization on 29th April 2026. The programme aimed to warmly welcome the new specialization students and to introduce them to the academic and extracurricular opportunities available within the department. It also provided a platform for students to interact with senior students and members of the Econ Club, fostering engagement and a sense of belonging within the academic community. The event concluded successfully with active participation from students, marking a positive beginning for their specialization journey.
