Representing the Faculty of Business Studies, University of Vavuniya, Mr. A. Sebarajah, Instructor in English Grade II, Department of English Language Teaching, participated as a resource person at the Education Fair – 2026 held on 4 th August 2026 at Mn/Adampan Central Maha Vidyalayam, Mannar.
During the programme, he introduced the external academic programmes offered by the Centre for Distance and Continuing Education (CDCE), University of Vavuniya, and provided guidance on higher education opportunities. Ms. Vithursana, Assistant Registrar, CDCE, also participated and provided information on student support services and academic matters.
The programme was organized by the Human Resource and Employment Division of the Mannar District Secretariat at the request of the Zonal Director of Education, Madu Zone. Approximately 500 Advanced Level students, along with teachers, principals, parents, and representatives of participating institutions, attended the event. Promotional materials on the University’s external programmes were also distributed.
