Biography

M.S.N. Ransara is a Lecturer (Probationary) in the Department of Business Economics, Faculty of Business Studies, University of Vavuniya. Her academic work is driven by a strong interest in understanding contemporary economic challenges and developing evidence-based solutions that support inclusive and sustainable development. She is committed to fostering academic excellence through innovative teaching, impactful research, and active engagement in university service. Her research primarily explores issues related to behavioral economics, financial inclusion, digital transformation and monetary economics, with a particular emphasis on emerging economies. She has been actively involved in curriculum development, academic conferences, undergraduate research initiatives, faculty outreach activities and student mentoring. Her long-term goal is to contribute to high-quality research that informs public policy and advances sustainable economic development at both the national and international levels.
