Objective
To review and improve/moderate the findings and gather feedback for future improvements in alignment with the PMI standards and the GAC guidance.
Overview
As part of the ongoing review process for the Bachelor of Business Management – Honors in Project Management course, a Key Consultees Workshop was conducted. The workshop brought together a diverse group of stakeholders, including faculty members, alumni, industry representatives, and academics. The primary objective was to review the current course modules, share insights, and recommend enhancements to align the program with PMI standards and GAC guidance.

Highlights of the Workshop
The workshop activities were conducted according to a detailed agenda, featuring insightful discussions and focused activities. Key sessions included:
- Welcome Address by Mrs. Mathivathany, highlighting curriculum refinement efforts and accreditation goals.
- Overview of workshop objectives and outcomes by Prof. Nanthagopan.
- Four focus group activities facilitated by Prof. Surendran, covering module mapping, GAC alignment, and program outcome improvements.
- Presentations from each focus group on recommended curriculum enhancements.
Workshop Outcome
- Incorporate more case studies for practical learning.
- Upgrade non-GPA subjects to GPA-credit subjects.
- Introduce Behavioral Strategic Management into the curriculum.
- Enhance the focus on ICT practicals, agile software projects, and legal/non-legal aspects.
Conclusion
The workshop successfully executed all planned activities, fostering productive discussions and engagement. The Department of Project Management expresses gratitude to all participants, especially PMI and Prof. Suresh Surendran, for their contributions to this fruitful event.
