Biography
I, Sarmatha Piriyatharshan, was born and brought up in Jaffna, Sri Lanka. I pursued my bachelor degree, B.A. Hons. in English Literature with First Class, from the University of Jaffna and my postgraduate degree, M.A. in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL), from the Postgraduate Institute of English, Open University of Sri Lanka. I have teaching experience in literature and language at the tertiary level. I am interested in creative writing, intellectual discussions and collaborative research.

I am interested in teaching English as a Second Language for Specific Purposes, English as a Second Language for General Purposes, and English Literature.
