The university community mourns the loss of Professor A. Pushpanathan, a respected and long-standing faculty member, who passed away on 31st January 2025.

Professor Pushpanathan was a dedicated academic and an influential leader, serving as the Dean of the faculty for two terms. As one of the founding members of the faculty, he devoted over 30 years of service to the university, making significant contributions to education and institutional growth.

His passing is an irreplaceable loss, leaving the university in deep sorrow. In honor of his legacy, his remains will be brought to the university on Monday, February 3rd, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., where faculty, students, and well-wishers can pay their final respects.

The university extends its deepest condolences to his family, colleagues, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
