The Workshop on Project Management Principles, Trends, and Opportunities was held on 12th
September 2024, starting at 1:00 PM in the BH4 Lecture Hall. The session featured renowned guest
speaker Mr. Siva Sivalogan, a highly experienced project management professional with
qualifications including PE-BSc, MBA, and a vast portfolio in project controls, management, and
consulting. Mr. Sivalogan is the President and Founder of exPERTcon and has contributed
significantly to project management in Sri Lanka and beyond, having also served as an adjunct at
Wentworth from 2010 to 2015, and continuing as a guest lecturer through 2024.
During the workshop, he discussed key project management principles, emerging trends, and
potential opportunities in the field. His insights offered participants a clear understanding of
contemporary practices, as well as practical applications relevant to both public and private sectors.
Attendees, including students and professionals, engaged in discussions on industry-relevant
challenges and future advancements in project management.
