{"id":2369,"date":"2026-08-10T03:58:16","date_gmt":"2026-08-10T03:58:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fbs.vau.ac.lk\/pm\/?p=2369"},"modified":"2026-08-10T03:58:43","modified_gmt":"2026-08-10T03:58:43","slug":"photography-competition-2022-season-02-rural-life","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fbs.vau.ac.lk\/pm\/2026\/08\/10\/photography-competition-2022-season-02-rural-life\/","title":{"rendered":"Photography competition 2022 &#8211; Season 02 &#8211; &#8216;RURAL LIFE&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As the Project Management Club of Faculty of Business Studies, University of Vavuniya we proudly commenced our fourth season of photography competition on 22nd October 2022 under the theme of \u201cRURAL LIFE\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"su-custom-gallery su-custom-gallery-align-left su-custom-gallery-title-hover\"><div class=\"su-custom-gallery-slide\" style=\"width:300px;height:300px\"><a><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/fbs.vau.ac.lk\/pm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/photography-competition3_4-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"photography competition3_4\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><span class=\"su-custom-gallery-title\">photography competition3_4<\/span><\/a><\/div><div class=\"su-clear\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over 50 participants were participated to this competition and first three winners were selected respectively,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1st Place \u2013 R.M.ilham<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2nd Place \u2013 T. Thurkka<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3rd Place &#8211; W.G.Sanjaya Dilshan Kumara<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All the winner of the photography competition are going to be rewarded on 20th December 2022, in the Project Management Day celebration function at University of Vavuniya. The judge of the competition was Mr.Abdul Azeez Mohammadu Aswar, Media Trainer and Media Consultant. While selecting the best meaningful photos the following criterions has been considered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The alignment with the real meaning of the theme<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Color combination<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Angled setup<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Though it was an open competition there was a high positive engagement of outside participants.
