Prof. Poongothai Selvarajan

Biography

Prof. Poongothai Selvarajan is the pioneer academic and the first Professor of the University of Vavuniya by completing successful 32 years of service in the University academic career in all the disciplines of Management, Management Information Systems and Marketing. In her career, she had held various administrative positions as Head of the Department, Dean of the Faculty, Acting Rector of the Campus and the Director/ Staff Development Centre of the University.

She has published thirty research papers in Indexed and peer-reviewed Journals and presented more than thirty papers in International and National Conferences. She has been serving as the research supervisor for Postgraduate students and examiner for PhD candidates from different Universities in India. She authored two books on Case Studies in Management in 2007 and 2017. She is a Trainer of Centre for Gender Equity and Equality (CGEE) at the University of Vavuniya. She is currently serving as an Adjunct Professor of Chhatrapati Shahu Institute of Business Education and Research,(CSIBER), Kolhapur, India
