Report on the Fundraising Activity: “Vade with Plain Tea”
The Entrepreneur Club of the University of Vavuniya hosted a vibrant fundraising event titled “Vade with Plain Tea” on 4th March 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am, near the roundabout in the Faculty of Business Studies premises. This initiative aimed to generate funds for the club’s upcoming activities and projects, all focused on enhancing community engagement and encouraging student participation. The event offered freshly made Vada and Plain Tea at an affordable price, attracting enthusiastic participation from both staff and students. It was a lively gathering filled with energy and camaraderie.

Report on Plantation Day Activity
Plantation Day, in commemoration of Late Prof. Ambalam Pushpanathan, was held on 19th February 2025 at the Faculty of Business Studies. Students and staff from the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship actively participated in planting trees from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. Report on Pre-Planting Activity
Prior to the Plantation Day, a pre-planting activity was conducted on 12th February 2025, from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. Students actively participated in land preparation, including creating crop calendars, cleaning, plotting, stumping, fertilizing, collecting plants, and watering the site to prepare for the tree plantation event. Visit to ReeCha Park & Resort
On 14th March 2024, management and entrepreneurship students from the University of Vavuniya explored various entrepreneurial concepts at ReeCha Park & Resort. The students gained valuable insights into real-world entrepreneurship, business strategies, and the application of theoretical knowledge in practical settings. The visit contributed significantly to the students’ academic and professional growth.
